A Life Dedicated to God’s Word

Pastor Sam Royalty’s relationship with the church began in childhood. His mother faithfully took him to church, allowing him to grow up in an environment where the Scriptures, Christian worship, and the life of faith were familiar to him from an early age.

At the age of fifteen, he personally received the Gospel, was born again, and was baptized. That experience brought him a profound sense of freedom, inner joy, and satisfaction unlike anything he had previously known. It marked the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith, service, and devotion to God’s Word.

Soon afterward, he began serving as a church secretary. At sixteen, he was entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the affairs of an entire congregation for more than a month. He carried out the assignment with maturity and excellence beyond what many expected from someone so young.

Although he was encouraged to become more active in ministry, he initially resisted the thought of becoming a pastor. Nevertheless, his love for teaching and evangelism continued to grow. As a young man, he travelled from town to town and from village to village, preaching the Gospel and teaching the Scriptures with the understanding he possessed at the time.

Those early years revealed a passion that would continue to shape his life: helping people understand God’s Word and personally experience the truth of the Gospel.

THE BEGINNING OF THE JOURNEY

“From an early age, the desire to teach, explain Scripture, and carry the Gospel to others was already becoming the defining burden of his life.”

“And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” 2 Timothy 2:2

Answering the Call

Although Pastor Sam Royalty loved teaching the Scriptures and serving in the church, he did not envision himself becoming a pastor. On several occasions during his early years of ministry, opportunities arose that pointed toward pastoral leadership, yet he chose not to pursue them, believing his calling would take a different direction.

As the years passed, however, his responsibilities continued to grow. He served in various leadership capacities, including youth leadership, regional Bible teaching, and other ministry roles that allowed him to teach, disciple, and strengthen believers through God's Word. These experiences provided valuable preparation while deepening his understanding of Scripture and pastoral ministry.

In 2017, he was invited to begin preparing for ordination. This marked a significant milestone in his ministry journey and strengthened his conviction that God was leading him into a broader work of teaching and shepherding His people.

Through continued prayer, study of Scripture, and years of ministry experience, Pastor Sam Royalty became convinced that he was being called to establish a ministry devoted to systematic biblical teaching. Rather than continuing under an existing ministry structure, he believed God was directing him to begin a work with a distinct emphasis on helping believers understand the Gospel, eternal life, and the Scriptures with greater clarity.

In March 2020, that vision gave birth to Bible Class To The Nations, which began as a Bible teaching radio program. A few months later, on August 16, 2020, Christ Beloved Church held its first worship service in a classroom with approximately fifteen people in attendance. What began as a small gathering has continued to grow into a ministry dedicated to taking eternal life to the world through biblical teaching, discipleship, and Christ-centered resources.
